bring 'em home already, lets save taxpayer dollars by ending our numerous wars and reducing our military costs...
I thought we ought to have gone into Afghanistan after 9-11, but that place is a God-forsaken hell-hole that is simply unfit for democratic government.We should have known better than to try to help instill democracy there.
I was against any invasion, but supported the Afghan front over Iraqi efforts...sometimes I think the Army just wanted to play with their toys in the sand...
Which is why the Founders were wise enough to place control of the military in a civilian Commander-in-Chief.
